To meet the academic aspirations of the working Engineers and Scientists, the University has established the School of Continuing and Distance Education (SCDE) in the year 1983.

The school was originally offering B. Tech correspondence - cum - contact programme (CCC) from 1983 to 2009. Keeping in view of the MHRD and AICTE guidelines, the B. Tech (CCC) has been suspended since 2010. Now the University is contemplating to develop the school by starting New and Innovative Technology Management Programmes at P.G. and P.G. Diploma level.

One Year Post Graduate Diploma programmes in the Correspondence - cum - Contact (CCC) mode

1. P.G. Diploma in Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance & Regulatory Affairs

Under Continuing Contact (CC) mode the students are called to attend day time regular classes in three spells each of 15 working days duration in a year.

Under Correspondence-cum-Contact (CCC) mode the students are called to attend contact classes for 15 working days in a year apart from receiving of Study and Learning Materials (SLM).
